Our practice facilities allow members to fine-tune every part of their game: work on your driver and long game in our new hitting net with launch monitors, tighten up your iron game on the driving range, master those delicate shots around the green at our chipping green and dial in your putting stroke on one of our two practice putting greens
At Southview Country Club, our thriving membership consists of passionate golfers and their families who have a true love for the game. We pride ourselves on being a family-friendly club complete with a warm and sociable atmosphere. Our members join Southview to play golf, and stay for the friendships and long-lasting memories.
Our Par 71 golf course will surprise those playing it for the first time. The beauty of the water features and majestic trees can easily take your attention away from golf. The uniqueness of the course quickly brings your attention back as you need to focus from tee to green. The greens are considered some of the best in the area by many and being in the wrong spot will present a challenge.
Holes 14, 15 and 16 wrap around Stark Lake and challenge the golfer to remain focused and not get caught up in the tranquil setting. Golfers unfamiliar with the course will look at the two Par 5's to finish the round and expect it to be an easy finish. This is not the case as both require accurate shots to have a chance for birdie on the undulating greens.
Golf Members enjoy the many benefits and privileges of our special club; including unlimited play of our championship golf course, multiple practice areas, unlimited complimentary golf carts and experienced professional golf staff offering instructional programs for all. The member golf calendar is highlighted by our multiple leagues and premier golf tournaments throughout the season.
For almost 50 years Southview has been the site of one of Minnesota's Golf Majors. The best local Golf Professionals and hundreds of amateurs tee it up to generate needed funds for citizens with developmental disabilities. Over 7.6 Million has been raised since the first tournament in 1972!
